HIFDA - Fund Raising Activities

WHITE ELEPHANT SALES

The White Elephant sales are usually held in December and May each year and have proven to be a very profitable fund raising activity.

Collections are currently being received, cleaned and priced. For large donated items contact Mary Amundsen (363-8125) and boxes can be dropped off at Fire Station #1 on Holiday Island Drive. The H.I.F.D.A. is a non-profit organization; therefore, all items donated to the White Elephant Sale are tax-deductible.

ALUMINUM CAN RECYCLING FUND RAISER PROGRAM
HIFDA Aluminum Can Recycling Bin
Your aluminum drink cans are money to the Holiday Island Fire Department Auxiliary.  The Auxiliary recycles aluminum cans and the money collected helps to support your Holiday Island Fire Department.  Join us in this fund-raising program by placing your bagged aluminum cans in the wire enclosed fenced area behind Holiday Island Fire Station #1 located on Holiday Island Drive.  Your support in this effort is greatly appreciated.

AUTOMOBILE TAGS

Let everyone know you are a Holiday Island resident by purchasing a
Holiday Island tag for the front of your automobile.  Proceeds from this sale benefits your Holiday Island Fire Department.

You may pick them up at the Holiday Island Rec Center or the Island Service Station.

SOUPER SUNDAY

Souper Sunday is held in February of each year and the best tasting homemade soups and desserts are served to the community.

Check back soon to see some of our favorite soup recipes!!
